VTC’s Certificate on College Teaching program is designed to help graduate
students and part- and full-time faculty improve their teaching skills for the
college level. The Certificate is earned upon completion of seven (7) three-hour
workshops on topics such as: learning styles, lecturing, use of technology in
the classroom, testing and grading, student-centered learning and retention of
