The Consumer Consortium On Assisted Living (CCAL) is a nonprofit consumer focused organization supporting quality assisted living as an option for long term care. The Virginia Long Term Care Ombudsman Program serves as an advocate for older persons who receive long-term care services. The program also provides information, referral and counseling to older persons and their families regarding long-term care services.
